JKA/MB Team Training Schedule for 2017
JKA/MB Testing and Seminars and Seminars
For students who are interested in the sport aspect of karate, the JKA of Manitoba is offering Team Training classes at Kildonan Karate Club (1115 Henderson Hwy). The classes will serve as an extension to your dojo training which will consist of: learning the rules, flag system, tournament etiquette, kata and kumite strategies. These classes will benefit those students who wish to participate in tournaments at a provincial and national level.

Students who wish to participate will require to bring each class hand pads and mouthpiece.

National Camps
As member of the CJKA- Canadian Japan Karate association, the JKA/MB is invited to all the national camps that the CJKA runs through the year. This year the summer camp will be held August 11th-14th in Ottawa.

​​We encourage students to travel and meet the other members of the CJKA and experience the great training available from some of the best instructors in the JKA.
The JKA of Manitoba holds testing and seminars for Kyu level students in February, June and October of each year. The organization follows the JKA Curriculum for grading all members. Dan testing is held yearly and all Dan grading is done by a licensed JKA grading instructor. All Dan grades are recognized and provided by the JKA/WF in Japan.
